This is my entry to the "The New Year's Teapot" contest on russian cgtalk, december 2004.
The image was completed in about 3 weeks during my free time. Modeling and rendering done in Maya with native renderer.
Background composited the hour before the submission deadline
Photoshop was used for minor color adjustments and composition.
